Welcome!

If you’re new to the area, looking for a church or exploring whether Christianity is for you, we’d love to meet you! Please come along to one of our Sunday gatherings (look at the times we gather and any upcoming events) or contact us for more information.

You can find St John’s Lindow on Knutsford Road in Wilmslow. For a map, click here.

If you have any questions about what to expect, please read our FAQ’s below.

Whatever feels comfortable!  We are pretty informal.

You’ll be greeted with a friendly smile, handed a notice sheet and helped to find a seat if you have any special requirement such as needing space for a wheelchair.

We are a family-oriented church, we welcome children and realise they will make some noise! However, if they are very noisy, we run a creche during our 10am service.

We have a Sunday service with communion twice a month. If you are already trusting Jesus  then you are welcome to take part, whatever your denomination. If you’re not, or you’re not sure, please  just stay in your seat.

During the services, no collection is taken. We are grateful for contributions to the work of the church, but don’t want you to feel under pressure. There is a plate at the back of church for donations.

Yes, one off the kitchen at the back of church, and one off the creche to the left at the front of the church.

In the Church Rooms there are also toilets. We have baby-changing facilities in both buildings.

We have a hearing aid loop and large print hymn books & Bibles are available on request. The church is accessible for people in wheelchairs. In a Communion service, the bread and wine will be brought to those unable to come to the front. There are disabled toilets in both our buildings.
