Dear Visitor
I warmly welcome you on behalf of the
whole church family at St John's. We do not know what
your expectations of a church might be but we do believe
that everyone matters to God and we try to reflect this
in our activities. There is something for everyone whatever
their age.

A Passion for Life is about God's mission: God's passion for our life in ChristWhen the church council decided in January of this year to take part in a nation-wide mission initiative culminating around Easter 2010 it seemed an exciting possibility to make the good news of Jesus Christ known in a compelling and attractive way, but still a long way off ... "No need to worry about that yet, it's almost 18 months away!"
Please pray for ...
- For adults and teenagers taking part in Beyond Belief,
that they might see the wonder of grace.
- Give thanks for the Evangelical Leaders Assembly.
- Preperations for the church weekend at home.
- For those recently bereaved.
What We Believe
- We believe that a Christian is someone who recognises
Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and who seeks
to follow Jesus in daily life.
- Our church aims above all else to help people find
out about Jesus Christ and then grow in their Christian
faith and so all our activities are designed to serve
these purposes.
- We believe that the Bible is God's reliable word
for today, and through it we can know God and how
he wants us to live.
- We want to share the importance of our faith with
others by the way we live our day to day lives and
our involvement in the community
