COVID-19 Update

We are looking forward to meeting together again in the church building from Sunday 6th September for our 10am morning service. There will be sufficient capacity (socially distanced) for all who are likely to want to come, with the Zoom option continuing for those unable to do so. Age-related groups for 3-14 year olds will also recommence then.

We will begin with a sermon series from Luke’s gospel, ‘Knowing Jesus’, getting to the heart of the good news of the Christian message! We warmly welcome anyone to come along.

In the meantime we continue to meet together, 10am on Sundays, via videoconferencing (see below for details). We want to make continued participation – even in this less personal way – a priority. We need one another, and the nourishing food of the Word of God.

How we are meeting

Sundays

We’re meeting online as church on Sunday mornings and we hope everyone will be able to join us wherever you are! At 10am (or a little before) you will need to click on this link https://zoom.us/j/152030147
We’re hoping to have all the components of a normal Sunday morning – songs, all age section, prayers, and teaching from God’s Word.

Homegroups

We are encouraging our homegroups to continue to meet, at what is a stressful time for many via video conferencing technology (e.g. a free Zoom account (limited to 40 mins), Skype or Facetime), with the usual format of Bible study and prayer. Your group leader will be in contact with you.

Midweek groups

Most of our Short Courses will continue on-line. If you have signed up for one of those the course leader will be in contact with you about the details.

Our wider community

We have distributed postcards to every home in our parish, offering help to those who are self isolating or are affected in any other way. If you are able to join the team of volunteers please get in touch.
